Vulcan Media experience

Regular supporters might recall we sometimes have undergraduates working with us during the summer months, shadowing our Press Officer and Vulcan Village support teams at all the regular shows across the country, and gaining invaluable experience in dealing with the media and our supporters. Last year, Vicky Garside joined us for the summer; you may have seen the contributions she made to our online newsletters. Recently, we were delighted to receive an email telling us of her recent success.

everyone,
As some of you may know from either seeing me at the air shows or reading my newsletter reports, I spent last summer working as a PR and Media officer for Vulcan To The Sky Trust during my internship.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I am delighted to say that I have now been offered a place on the Airbus Direct Entry Graduate Scheme, starting in September this year after my degree finishes.
I am sure that without my internship with VTST I would not have developed the necessary skills or relevant experience to be given this opportunity. So, I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone I worked with during my internship and I hope to see everyone again at some point this year!
