Update is up on the "Runway Banner" on the Home page ....... £199,117 { the "Current Funding" link on the "How to help" page is still showing Thursday's total , though }
Looking at it , it seems to be averaging out at about £2k per day !

Missed the banner on the front page :oops:. Have current funding page as a favourite, so it is quick to look at that than go to the home page.

Latest amount raised page http://www.vulcantothesky.org/how-to-he ... nding.html now shows:
Page Not Found
The page you're looking for has not been found. If you typed the address, make sure there are no mistakes and try again. If you followed a link from our site or an external site, why not contact us and let us know.
In the mean time, why not return to our homepage or browse the many ways you can help keep XH558 flying.

Hope this is temporary.

Going from another topic { viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2177 } , I assume that Ian { PA28 } is updating / sorting out the FUBAR'd bits of the website .....either that , or he's updating it to show the curent total.

No, it has now been deleted.

A lot of the content was not relevant anymore.
i.e.
The Mail Order sales promotion has long gone.
A lot of the ISP's have now finished.
The Summer Season Plaque has now finished.
The 3 month Standing Order 'capture window' has expired
Sales from Robin Hood over Easter now captured.

It was also a lot of work to keep modifying this, so we will now report additional income over and above the norm, by way of the Runway Graphic in each of the newsletters as indicated yesterday. It gives a single focus, as there are many new income generators about to launch in the next few weeks.

This will mean an accurate update for you:
As at 5pm on Monday, which will be advised each Tuesday in 'News Bytes'.
As at 5pm on Thursday within the main Friday eNewsletter - and so on each week till July 31st.

It also takes about 2 hours to check all the online systems and record the actual figures, getting in reports from Hinckley, seeing if Web Store is ahead of targets, check Paypal balances, Roman Cart, Cheques, Cash, Standing Orders, Text Donates etc..etc... so cutting reporting to twice a week instead of three times a week, will help me tremendously as we come into the busy display season.

Hope that explains.

Regards,
Ian.

Ian ;
As the 'Latest amount raised' page no longer exists , I was wondering if it would be possible to add a "next update due on..." or "last updated on..." field to the 'Runway Graphic' or the 'Appeal Status' bar { even if it's just something as basic as , say , "next update due on Monday" } .......that way , visitors to that page will know how up-to-date it is. As things stand , there's nothing on there any more to say when it was last updated.

Edited on 07/06 to say:
Just checked the "Runway Graphic" & I see that we now have a "Next update due" field on ther....that was quick ! Many thanks. :D

Just had a Twitter saying the appeal amount has reached £200,000 - Make that £200,020 'cos I've just written my cheque for the draw tickets.
My wife asked if I was going to sell any and I told her "Not likely, have you seen the first prize!"
