Recycling. Important Contact details

Postby dlw » Thu Jun 09, 2011 10:08 am

Due to an increase in recycling traffic the Club has created a new email address for recycling information/uplift requests:-
recycling@vulcantotheskyclub.co.uk

This means that we can offer you an improved level of service that is not totally relient upon me being in harness, (Even I need a holiday occasionaly!!).
My contact no is 07760803922.

Please use the links on the homepage for organising disposal of Mobiles and sundry cartridges. Note The specific link to our partner Envirophone generates a greater revenue stream for phones. Empty cartridge are the company we use for those products for similar reasons.

Thanks for your support.

I am awaiting some figures from our recycling partners. When I get them I will inform you as to how much revenue it has generated towards XH558,s future.

Is that email address correct? Just had my email bounced back, should it be recycling@vulcantotheskyclub.co.uk not 'recycling@vulcatotheskyclub.co.uk'?

Well, another season draws to a close. It's been a tough one for us all; I, in particular have had a frenetic few months, hence the reason you have heard little from me regarding my pet fundraiser.

Recycling is not, a volume cash generator unlike many of our ventures, it does though represent a steady cashflow through out the year.
Please think of us when you are upgrading your phone and listening to the tempting offers presented by the sales folk. (They are earning commision by taking in your old phone. :!: :!: :!: )

Old cartridges; please contact me to see if they can be recycled. Again not a big money creator in isolation; in a global environment, it's money in the bank.

I hope to be at Finningly next Sunday and should have some floor standing boxes for you to take away and will happily relieve you of any old phones etc you may have and will be pleased to answer any questions regarding how you can help further.

We do have a dedicated email address recycling@vulcantotheskyclub.co.uk or via me dlwnottm@yahoo.co.uk.

Have a good week & I look forward to seeing many of you soon.

Bump!!!!
A quick reminder, can you please remember us when you throw out your old cartridges etc.

The old fones etc I collected from RHA last week will net us a # of around £40.00

Please contact me with details of your old Fones and toners etc so I can decide how best to generate revenue from them.
dlwnottm@yahoo.co.uk is easiest way to keep in touch as this is monitored for most hours of each day.
Thanks

The short answer is no. To comply with legislation these items need disposal by a specialist company, laptop batteries have alot of highly toxic chemicals in them that must not find their way into landfill. My advice is to contact your local council for advice about the safe disposal of them.
(Our recycling company to the best of my knowledge, have a carriage or disposal permit to collect them.

I need your old cartridges and fones desperately to push our contribution to the winter service into larger sums than recently received.
