Can't imagine why. Factual content even allowing for incorrect spelling. But that's life.

The enclosure is free entry for Founding Guardians. The Founding Guardians email news letter requested that you where either an item of unique clothing or the FG Badge. There will probably be a list of Guardians as well as a method of last resort.

As Event Manager for Dunsfold Wings and Wheels 2016 please be aware that we do NOT have an enclosure this year.

The enclosure has always been a kind gift of DW&W due to the appearance of 558 at the event, unfortunately that can no longer be the case.
We hope once we have the Canberra flying we will be able to re-instate this "gift".

We are advising those who have contacted us direct and who wish to sit near the Vulcan Village to arrive early and create a suitable encampment of their own to the front of the village.

Kind regards
Bob

"sniff, sniff...sorry, the Johnson clan will not be in attendance this year "

Wot, no donuts????

Damned disgrace if you ask me. :(

Richard.

Richard,

May I suggest that a trip to Argos enroute for a deep fat fryer , then Waitrose for their home donut packs might solve the problem

We are in our usual place and yes we do have our Member's Only Enclosure.

For those of you who didn't see the new "Hamlet" at Cosford or Yeovilton look for something different ! A case of continuous development may see minor alterations yet again ..........but it works and the atmosphere is great

We are shown in the Programme and given the proximity on the Flight line we will open up the Members Enclosure, pleae remember that if you wish to use this you must present your membership card and it must be current as of the day. We do not have a Members print out and as the enclosure is very popular we cannot make exceptions no card no admittance - sorry.

Most of the new merchandise will be on sale together with a bargain table. Don't forget your £5 off vouchers we weren't planning on being down your way again this year

So come and visit us we like a chat and a we just know you want to buy something

The flash was Martin smiling.

She will remain there to do RNAs Culdrose on Thursday before departing North, don't forget she has displays in Northern Ireland and Blackpool before Dunsfold and then the South coast again.

Spreading her charm around the UK that's the Spirit of Great Britain

We are in our usual place but for those of you who didn't see the new "Hamlet" at Cosford look for something different ! Actually it has been enhanced a little since then.....progress !

We are shown in the AirDay Programme and given the proximity we will, subject to operational status, be offering Underwing Tours, usual conditions apply.

Most of the new merchandise will be on sale together with a bargain table. Don't forget your £5 off vouchers we weren't planning on being down your way again this year

So come and visit us we like a chat and a sale

Rachel,

It was not a much repeated question as the new format was only put into action at Cosford for the first time...............!
Whilst it puts extra strain on the volunteer force the results can be more fulfilling overall......at least that was the feedback from Cosford from Customers, Staff on site, and the management at Hinckley.

Believe it or not it is very hard not to laugh when during the monsoon downpour someone decides to tip the water off the roof just when you are walking under it !

Vulcan Village / Hamlets do not include Club organised events eg Weston. They are centrally organised by The Events Team in Hinckley and vary in size from 8M x 4M upto 15M x 25M.
The larger units tend to be where the aircraft is on the ground and it is a full weekend show eg Waddington.
Farnborough is still under discussion regarding facilities ...... so watch this space or other spaces for news

Vulcan to the Sky Events

As anticipated there will be a full Vulcan Village at RAF Waddington Airshow on  July 5th & 6th 2014 with Set-up on Fri, July 4th.

Volunteers for the event will impact on the size of the Village we will take to the event.
As we all know the Vulcan Village is a popular destination for visitors to the show and the bigger it is the more sales we make with increased revenue going to maintaining the aircraft.

Should anyone wish to Volunteer to staff the unit then please PM me or email either ian.homer@vulcanto the sky.org or myself on bobjackson@vulcantothesky.org

There are regulars who will help you so don't worry if you have never done it before.
This topic is repeated in the Events section.
