I thought I'd post a few early efforts (before all the spotters with the realy posh gear get on here to show me up)

Thanks Mike,  the forecast said "great sunrise" so I got in at 6 to see if there was any thing going on.  Must say I was a bit disappointed, the great thing about Lyneham is you get a lot of great sunsets and by luck that first time we were diverted in we ended up parked in the middle of the airfield with a cracker right behind us.  Only happened the once so it was pure luck I had my camera with me (shame I didn't get Browny to move the bus out of the way though!)

I think a hankie is required in "Head On" Sam. It looks like she's got a runny nose! ;)

On further investigation (we carried out a functional test of the system from the book) the Yaw Damper turned out to be "no fault found"

The pitch damper turned out to be a failure of the damper servo motor fitted next to the PFCU.  The functional test tricks the Gyros into thinking the aircraft is flying you test each of the servo in turn, each elevon should move about four inches and then slowly return to its original position.  The No.3 elevon was "flutering" (the trailing edge was moving about an inch up and down)  We replaced the damper servo with an item from stock and carried out a functional test (one of Johns bits) all sorted.

No pictures I'm afraid as our official photographer was away at his day job.
