Title: Mk10 seat Probs.........
Post by: Nickolas on July 28, 2010, 07:22:42 PM
MB Mk10 seats as fitted to the fleet of Hawk T1's have been discovered to have a crack in them....
One seat defective but fleet grounded as a precaution. :(

I think it was proven earlier on in the year that the Red Arrows ejection seats are working just fine  ;)

The Mk10 seat in varying guises is pretty much the seat of choice for most fast jets.
Hawk, Tornado, Typhoon (pre MK16 issue), Alpha Jet, Mirage, Gripen, F-18 to name a few.
