Title: Trust newsletter. Sign-up or read past editions.
Post by: Board Admin on February 04, 2013, 04:35:58 PM
The Trust issues regular news updates each Tuesday and Friday in an electronic newsletter that is delivered directly to any nominated email account.

It's FREE and easy to sign-up for by filling in a few details on this page: http://www.vulcantothesky.org/newsletter-sign-up.html (http://www.vulcantothesky.org/newsletter-sign-up.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

Below will be a series of online links that will populate editions one week after their original issue, acting as a archive for any missed.

You can control or alter your settings, or view a wider ranging archive from that sign-up page at any time in the future. The newsletter page is available off the link half-way down the home page.

We hope you enjoy the content which includes funding, maintenance and historical features relating to XH558 and Vulcan aircraft in general.

Well it would have been if it had ever been updated.

The last news letter was loaded on the 28th March......

To be honest, I can't see the point when it is already off the newsletter page: http://www.vulcantothesky.org/newsletter-archive.html

During a busy season, it's just too much workload to keep on top of it.

If someone from the moderation/regular member team wants to take it on and update off the previous list here in the Club forum, then that's fine by me, but I do not have the time to do it twice!
It will be a copy and paste job into an on-going post. Offer up by all means if you want to.

Personally, I wouldn't bother.  As Ian says, it's only replicating what's already on the main site.

Up to you Jane if you have the time. A good test for the time it takes is to start bringing the post above upto date. There's plenty to go at.

- You have to write in the date in the post.
- Go to the main archive, click and open the related date and newsletter.
- Copy the live url off the - 'online version'
- Come back to the text and patch in the url under the text.
- Doing in small monthly batches might help.
- Save

Easy, now repeat for all the others....
