Just a quick note. While looking for prezzies for the "C" word I noticed that you have a picture of the Avro Arrow with the heading of AVRO Vulcan Tiebar and Cufflink Set - Gold plated.

Ooops!  :o

I was not there at the rollout but Flibster was and took these.

I was stuck at work and took snapshots of the event via the webcam. I put them in the gallery section. Are they still availableon here?

Is this time to look back at what we achieved? To remember the time, effort and hope we all put in to this project. To share thoughts, memories and photos.

Well remembered Ascot5046. Work and other commitments made time on the forum very difficult but now retirement means more me time. You're right, the change in the web sites has wiped all of my past waffle, ramblings and musings.
Anyhow I'm back!  ;D

Seems strange to be talking about the last flight! The real last flight rather than the lack of money last flight warnings we had over the years! There for the first flight but I don't know if I can get to the last when ever that is this month. We'll have to see.

Hi all. Not been on for a while but still about.
I've been framing some of my 558 photos, prints and I was about to do the patches over the years when I thought I'd check to see if I'm missing any. Sure enough I am , according to Barry Holland! Looks I need a 'Farewell to Flight' patch available through the shop and the club patch which I cant find on the site. Where can I get one to complete the set.....unless you know different!

How about a car windscreen sun shade with the Vulcan on the front. Very useful when you leave your car in a sunny car park. Plus large area for details about the project and sponsor's logos.
 Cheap to produce.

Or Side windows shades. A little more expensive though.

TSR2 like the Avro Arrow was canned due to politics, not that they were failures. Where is Spruce Goose? I'm sute there should be lots of WW" german designs in the list. They were building loads of kit that never quite made the grade. Same with the Americians and Russians during the heat of the Cold War.  What about the Sanders Roe SRA/1 or the American Convair Seadart?

The XB70 was designed with 'Zip' fuels in mind that were never developed.
