If I remember correctly the black box on the left of your photo with all the aluminium Plessey plugs attached was part of the NBS fit.Calculator mk 2 I think though it is 40 wish years since I stuck my head in there.If you have a complete fit inside the radome and against the bulkhead should be two boxes (one either side) about 12 x 9x 6 inches.These would be the Blue Saga warning receivers,part of the ECM fitment.There were two others in the tail aft of the Ecm hatches.If you still have a dustbin sized can forward of the 6th seat ( behind the nsv radar) that would be the NBS calculator mk 3.

Does any one  recall the time one of the tin triangles flying back from a Goose Ranger was forced to make a landing [not at the first attempt]in and horrendous sidewind and contrived to blow pretty much all 16 of its main wheels.? This was at Waddo,[I think circa 1974] date not time tho it was late at night.Trade didnt matter in those days and evryone on the line was out to recover it .I was a NBS fairy then.

they flew with fuel tanks in the bomb bay whilst bombers,usually if they were travelling a fair distance eg Goose Ranger.An "A" tank at the front,a "D" tank at the rear and the "Flyawaypack" of spares in the centre.The "A" tank was shaped so access could still be got to the bomb bay through the doors at the front.

The secret is to keep your fingers away from the U section as it is manhandled onto the eye on the nosewheel leg.I once had to play ambulance with a Morris RVT ( remember them anyone?  ) when a young FLM got his in the way at Scampton.

Out of interest,how much of the original operational avionics is used now.I can we that TFR is missing and I can't see a whole lot of use for the H2S/NBC figment but how about Tacan,IFF10,Decca Doppler and Rad Lt 6 & 7?

50LTECH was spot on with his reply.You should find 2 circular plates at about 7 o'clock on the roundels which is where the ADDs were.

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but I would like it made aware to anyone that knew Colin (who was a  Vulcan driver) that he lost his fight with cancer on the18th  May 2014.I met him first at Locking where we were apprentices together and didn't meet again till 1975 at Waddington shortly before I left the service.
