Low-viz roundels
« on: January 03, 2011, 10:04:10 PM »
I'm asking this as I asked Gregg and he didn't know  :D  and won't admit that he doesn't know  :D

I noticed that 558 displays the low-viz RAF roundels as displayed by covert aircraft such as the sea harriers. Anyone know why 558 had low-viz roundels?

Low-visibility roundels have been used on all camouflaged aircraft since the 1970s  similar to "B" type if a little different size :)

The roundels on air supiority grey aircraft since the 1980s are a different to the above as they are more washed out look to them.
