Thursday 17 Feb - XH558 Big Day?
« on: February 17, 2011, 11:21:32 PM »
In the last newsletter it was announced that 'This Thursday, the examiners will arrive at XH558's hangar at RAF Lyneham.' I presumed it meant the 17 February as I received the newsletter on Thursday 10 February.
Sounds like a Quality Process Audit and I know how tough they can be as I dabbled in this myself in the Telecomms industry apart from my day job as a technical instructor.

Any idea as to how the inspection went?

The audit went well.

The CAA was actually auditing Marshall Aerospace, as they are the Engineering Authority for the Annual Servicing.  However this incorporates us all as engineers/technicians, as well the hangar environment.
