This Spitfire would be the Grace two-seat MK IX, one of my other memberships, along with the BBMF.  Incidentally, this aircraft shot done the first enemy aircraft of the D-Day landings.

Whilst out and about at the local Regatta this morning, I was wearing my club polo shirt and it seems everybody in the area spotted 558 flying over on Friday  :lol:

Gazelle seen heading towards Hurn Airport at approx 13.25hrs today. Bit of a rarity for these parts.

Hmm ... seem to have lost the Cluny quote here.  Edited to try to get this to make sense but no idea how to retrospectively add the quote  :(

Just to let you know we missed you  :)  Then again, it didn't really rain, although the forecast was pretty poor, so maybe we should have known  :lol:

This one had rotors on top and at rear... no horns were visible  ;)

I have not seen that one of the species ....I will keep an extra look out on animal watch now rotors on the top and at the rear you say it's funny how long as you live you never have seen everything !

What looked suspiciously like the Lancaster has just flown past my office heading for Boscombe (not Boscombe Down!!).  Appeared to have other BBMF planes with it....
