Just spent a few days in Norfolk. The highlight was seeing three F15s dog fighting just south of Sherringham! This was around 6:30 to 7pm too which surprised me. I take it the yanks don't stick to 9-5 like the RAF seem to?
We were staying with my wife's 98 year old Granddad, who lives only 10 or 12 miles from Marham, so as you might expect, we saw a few Tornado, although more often than not, you can hear but not see them. On the way back home today, at around 11am, we saw a lone Tornado quite low, which turned alongside us and then seemed to be heading in the direction of Swaffham, seeing as it was following the A1065 (IFR - I Follow Roads  ). I wondered if it perhaps did a flypast over the town, seeing as the 'Welcome Home' parade was taking place at that time for one of the Marham Squadrons.
