Sea Vixen XP924 G-CVIX marked in 899 NAS colours. Seen fast taxying at BOH/EGHH last Friday together with Gnat XR537 (too far away for my point and squirt camera).

Approx. 10:30 hrs .....
2 x VC10 in close echelon-left formation @ 13k feet , routing SSW towards Devon coast { using callsign KAYAK Formation }

saw an apache VERY low last night whilst playing golf just outside Braintree (Essex). If I'd used a 9 iron instead of a 6 I would probably have hit it!

I wonder what the Apache's sensors would have made of an in-coming golf ball, and what the defence reaction might have been.  :o  :D

Didn't see them but heard 2 very loud F15's playing tag over my house about 9pm last night - noisey bu@@ers!!!!!!!!!!  :lol:

Ooops - never thought of that, had it been a ball with a titanium core they might have picked it up
