Which area do you live?

Wilberfoss, east of York. They're often messing about over here but not usually as loud as they were tonight - scared my cats!!!!

Thanks, now I know that your not talking from near a base.
I said "no more passwords" and look what happened!

One from yesterday (must try & post these as I spot them)

RAF Sentinel R1 over Newark about 15:00

(plus 2 pairs of Kites playing beside the A34 between The M4 and Oxford)
I'll never give up on the dream!

Noisy something or other every so often but with this low cloud and rain there's not a hope in hell of identification.
I know they aren't VC10's though  :( :( :(

Saw this at Goodwood on Saturday. The tail reg XA637 belonged to a Gloster Javelin FAW2

It is actually a Sikorsky S58C and I believe it's true identity is D-HAUG

It was being used for filming.

I don\'t want a second childhood. I\'m still enjoying the first one.

I\'m retired.
I was tired yesterday, and I\'m tired again today.

The boys are out playing with their big toys this evening in the skies over the West of York.  Can't see who or what it is, but I can see their lights and they're making plenty of noise.
I'm masking my indifference with a veneer of detachment

F15s again Tim! Been at it every evening this week so far and have been trying to blast my roof off for nearly 2 hours tonight - brilliant!  ;D

Thanks Sam, better than I was but still got no strength  :(
Resurrected my laptop and it's sat on a chair at the side of the sofa so I can get on the net and do some work from home   ;)

Haven't had the strength to go outside to watch the F15s bums on fire in the dark - but, by 'eck, they've been noisey!!  ;D

funny to go to all that trouble repainting the cab and then not using a genuine scheme/airframe number.

Spotted a Queens flight 146 on the pan outside 3 hangar.

Also spotted the vip getting on it but don't have a clue who it was as it was a long way away and I didn't have my glasses!

Guess it will be on the local news tonight (unless they visited Notts, Lincs or Derbys - in which case Yorkshire news will refuse to report it!)

David Cameron was in Grimethorpe today (at the ASOS distribution centre).  Might have been him(?)
