F15s at it yet AGAIN!

I know they come round here quite a bit but it's been every evening this week for a hour or more. Must be a reason - wonder why?  ???

Merlin, very low speeding across the top of our house mid afternoon. Didn't note the time! (Abbeymead, Gloucester).

No F15s though lol

Watching 737s circling the area due to thunderstorms and a flooded runway at LBA.  Looks a bit of a mess on FR24. Looks like one of them may be diverting to DSA.

Caught sight of an L1011 Tristar late Thursday morning. It's just not the same as spotting a VC10 though, hence the lethargy in reporting it!

Voyager (A330) slowly crossing Gloucester around 12'ish today. Can't remember the exact time. Tried to take a photo but because of the sun couldn't see the screen very well so just got a little grey blur in the corner of the shot! Must get and SLR next time.

Two fighters, probably Tornado's as I couldn't make out if they had the forward elevons but I think not.
Passing over Gloucester, very slowly heading in a Northerly direction.

Well spotted David. We heard them but couldn't see them.

They weren't far below the cloud base but luckily it was quite high today compared to recently, apart from yesterday which was glorious at the museum  ;D ;D ;D
You should pop along this Saturday (I don't do Sunday's). It is closing at the end of November and reopening early February. Official grand opening is planned for Easter.

Woo hoo!

Saw a RAF Tornado today

I did think of ringing up Marham to ask if they had lost one but it headed off to the North (Lossie jet?)

Also the Dreamliner and an Easyjet Airbus bashing round the circuit - almost felt like a real airport here today  ;)
I'll never give up on the dream!
