Herc C-130J out of Southampton airport this morning.

Better ring the RAF back as they have obviously been a bit careless and are letting the aircrew get a few more hours in @ the moment.  ;)

Spotted 3 Red Kites on the A34 between the M4 and Oxford.

Nothing of mechanical aviation interest though.

United Arab Emirates Airbus A380 at 1310 overshoot from Heathrow over my home at 2500 feet, nice and steady.

at 1613 whilst pedalling my way home from work, BA A380 took off over me, out of Heathrow apparently on way to Los Angeles; my first sighting of a BA version.

Spotted a hopelessly lost regional co-ordinator in Tesco three times on Saturday, having about as much luck as me finding anything to buy!

Hercules has just flown over Bournemouth, and off west.

Two F15's from Lakenheath chasing each other over Market Deeping, Lincolnshire. Quite a regular thing here.

Slightly strange one - a Sea King was hovering in various locations over Bournemouth/Branksome early evening yesterday. I'm not the only one to have seen it either..

About an hour later later a different helo was over the seafront but couldn't see what it was but it was definitely circling out to sea, but had different anti collision lights than the Sea King - possibly Coastguard.

Two Chinooks just did a fairly low pass heading from Hamworthy direction then turned in and landed at Hurn.

Edit: both just departed - headed South a far way out to sea before turning Eastwards.

Tornado low over our village intially going West, then powered on and went North
That huge triangle against the sky like some monstrous angel trailing dark clouds of glory
