Got a late "Heads Up" on the first Dominie to depart Kemble for it's last flight ever to Humberside where it will form part of a new facility training young aeronautical engineers along with three Hawks (ex Doncaster ?) and the second of the Dominie's.We played "Hookie" from the Refinery and arrived just as the Dominie entered the circuit at Humberside and made it's final landing, very sad.No picture I am affraid as we didn't have time to pick them up from our cars before leaving the Refinery. The second Dominie flew in later on bur we had to return to work . :(

Late again I'm afraid...

A pair of Apache flew across the middle of RHADS yesterday.

Very nice and punchy.   ;D

Could hear a Wokka off in the distance a little later on in the direction they had gone so I wonder if there is a training area off in that direction (as you know I don't get out much...

For a change I'll post one early.

Tiger Moth out of Doncaster tomorrow some time!  ;D

Busy day @ Robin Hood, Maid Marion, Friar Tuck international today!

A pair of Tornado's did a low flyby as a pair about 100 feet along the center line.  Most amusing as they were obviously trying to keep the noise levels down (but they were still much noisier than the Thompson 737 which took off just after the flyby!)

Then there was a King Air Shadow bashing the circuit for most of the afternoon.

Like a real airfield here today!
I'll never give up on the dream!
