Not that I'm there, and this will annoy some, there are at least five active aircraft around the west coast of Wales at the moment, RAF and USAF.

Good day for helicopters monday and yesterday.

Monday I was passed by an apache heading up the A303 next to Stonehenge (very low!)

Yesterday we had a Chinook drop in for some fuel.

Today was good, nine very shiny red jets parked in a line, two red bull racer type thinghies, a Canberra and a lancaster - no, not in the hangar at Doncaster  ;)
I'll never give up on the dream!

Sounds excellent; which Canberra then?

Olive drab four engined transport very low over Liss in Hampshire (Odiham not far) this morning.  About Hercules sized but jets not props, would this be a C17?

Sunday afternoon about 1:30 had a biplane fly over Broughton Astley - looked like a swordfish flying easterly direction! Later on 2 prop jobs heading south but my other half couldnt ID them!

Well, heard it actually, it woke me up, passing over my place at 0500 and I knew it was something different. Sikorsky S92A of the Irish Coast Guard going in to Heathrow.

From Dublin, not much of a view at that time of night.
