Would love to come and do some more scrubbing but, unfortunately, the new job gets in the way.............. >:(

I thought you had retired.....

I'm afraid I've messed up a bit now with some new restrictions regarding access to the the jet/hangar.

If you've pm'd me can you let me know which day you'd like to come over?

Friday will probably not be a suitable day.....

Mike
I decided to stay on a bit longer as they are now offering redundancy and it seemed a shame to leave with nothing when I could get a reasonable payout  ;D
I am still available for cleaning during the season but just not this week ,sorry Sam.

Hmm.

I've not bumped this for a while...

Just like to say a huge thank you to all of the polishers who have come along over the years to basically do my job for me.

you have all been great and I hope you all think it was worth it.

Oh and those who were in the hangar on Thursday got a bit of a celebrity bonus so that was nice.
I'll never give up on the dream!

I would like to add my thanks too! Made for some great shots when you can almost see your reflection in her nose as she flies past (well the sand on the beach and the cliffs anyway) 8) 8)!

Well done to all those Vulcan Scrubbers. Your efforts were very apparent at all the airshows. Only wish I'd been able to join in, but what with work, a baby girl & back surgery I always found an excuse to stay at home :)

I enjoyed my 2 days at DSA with endless rags giving XH558's underside a good polish.  Very tiring but well worth it.

Thank YOU Sam for letting us near her!

I'm sure I can vouch for all the polishers (and the odd Scrubber........!!) that we have had a wonderful time in the hanger and it has been a absolute and utter priviledge.  ;)

Thanks again to you and the rest of the engineers for making us so welcome - it's been brilliant!!  ;D

Bump...

It's been a while.

She's looking a bit dusty and she never got a good clean after her last day out.

If anyone is still talking to me and they would like to come over to have a bit of fun drop me a p.m.

We'll probably keep it down to groups of four or five as while we now have good access all around the jet there are now some issues with controlling the punters (who have good access all around the jet....)

Scrubbers of the world untie.
