Another post says she will be BLASTING off after the BBMF Flypast is that true??

No. '558 will not be moving until after all the general public have left Brunty. Possibly not until Monday morning.

Gully

Not the best idea in the world, Brunty have been fielding quite a number of calls asking for times etc.

If 558 is to close to the crowd line to either fast taxi or take off then all the other aircraft are as well, the Victor for example is more powerfull than 558 so we'd better knock it on the head then!

It's highly probable that many people will leave the airfield and simply park up in the lanes around Bruntingthorpe or return the next day, which will cause the problems the trust were worried about before the move to Doncaster.

Sorry, don't know the answer. I can make a couple of guesses (result of discussions between the Trust and CAA, requirement to FoD plod the runway again), but I don't have a definitive answer.

Oh come on Gregg think about it...... 558 is a flying aircraft[at the moment] and is therefore controlled by the CAA regulations of 250meters crowd clearance... where as the taxying residents.... though they may actually look like aircraft,....  inthe eyes of the CAA they are just jet dragsters... that is until they take off, which is Illegal..... then the brown & smelly stuff hits the fan
