You have to admit , though , Gregg , that some of those on the other fora { such as the idiot "Duxfordian" } don't need anything to speculate on....they're quite capable of fabricating lies & malicious comments without any prompting !
{ Only suprise is that "Winco" seems to have been conspicuous by his absence lately....after all , he was probably the biggest XH558/Trust-hater ! }

Unfortunatly Lew only went and gave those plonkers something to speculate on.

I suggest Lew that you tootle round the other fora and point out that you are not a VTTS spokes person or Official VTTS photographer and that you posted inaccurate information.

Right, Gregg lets get some facts straight here:

1) I am not, and have never claimed or written that i'm a official spokesperson for VTTS OR VTS Engineering.

2) My own Doncaster forum is no way connected with VTTS or a official source information however it does contain a forum for XH558 discussions at Doncaster, like many other forums across the internet world.

3) I am, and have in writing that I'm a "VTTS Approved Photographer at Doncaster Robin Hood Airport" hense what my signature says on this forum, along with all others I frequent on.

4) In my post, I did not post a fact, I was merely suggesting it could have happened in a discussion on my own forum which has now been removed because of people jumping on the band wagon as per usual.

Time to step away from all this - Gregg i'm not going to start bickering with you and the negativity i'd rather be trying to make money for XH558 with my photos and keep her in the air.

Really? so what was that petty little PM about then?

You're right Lew you're non of those, however many people seem to think that you and your forum are so have taken what you post as gospal.

It's bad enough to read the crap people spout about the trust etc without someone who clearly has behind the scenes access adding to it. I too do my best to raise awarness and raise money for 558, it just pees me off when that job is made harder by people who frankly should no better than to spout unfounded rumour and speculation.

Two falls, Two submissions, or a knockout to decide the winner. ;)

Let's call it a draw before we start WW3

I don\'t want a second childhood. I\'m still enjoying the first one.

I said it was a possibility, not a fact.

Well no, you outright stated they'd blown the gear down and then said she'd need to go up on jacks to cycle the gear and get everything going again. No hint of the word 'possibility' or 'possible'. Given your close cooperation with VTTS at Doncaster many will infer from any posts of yours - regardless of which forum they're on - that any info you post comes from them and is therefore accurate. Now Taff tells us that wasn't the case and I'm inclined to believe him so I was just wondering where your information came from.

Excuse me - I believe he's from Leeds which isn't really that far North.

I also believe that the term muppet should be reserved for Southerners :-)

Let us wait and see what Taff says ;)  ;)

Then we can ask questions why & where for, also why don't we ask the aircrew they were the ones who know the true facts of what happened :?  :?

Fingers crossed it is something easily fixed

As i'm neither a northerner or southern nancy boy either term is ok to describe either lot. :D i have other words to describe the savages that dwell even farther north.
