Well I'd gladly pay a vastly inflated fee to see one of those at an airshow Phill!   .

In all seriousness though, my choices would probably be something along the lines of:

Harrier
Javelin
Canberra
Shackleton

A formation of all the airworthy Avro aircraft - Vulcan, Lancaster, Anson...would love to add Shackleton to that list but I don't fancy it'll ever happen.

Sam......
It's pretty simple....
Start a "New Topic"........at the bottom of the page , you'll find 3 options : "Options" , "Upload Attachment" & "Poll Creation"......Click on "Poll Creation" , then follow the instructions.
 :D

Edit to say....
Just had a quick look , and it appears you can add a Poll to a Topic that you've already created --- Opn the topic , go to the first post & click on "Edit"...the rest is as per what I posted above.

Blackbird, Lightning and Harrier from that list.  Other 'dead' types for me would be Nimrod, Victor and F14.  Oh, and how about the Caspian Sea Monster for Bournemouth? ;-)

I'm mainly a large Aircraft fan, so....

HP Victor
As the type very seldomly displayed at any airshow in more latter years. In some ways, superior-looking to the Vulcan!

Short Belfast
Something about big turboprops!!!

Bristol Britannia
(as above) and very elegant!

HS Argosy
(as previous) and the whine of its Darts!!

Blackburn Beverley
Big bulky thing, would have loved to see it 'thrown' around the sky.

Vickers VC10
When they are out of service, it would be nice for one to keep flying.

EE Canberra
Didn't think I'd have to add this to a wish list just yet, but it's been so long now since we've seen one on the display circuit.

DH Mosquito
Far too long without one on the circuit. Amazing plane.

Tupolev Tu-160
Huge and very elegant and would make a change to the similar B-1

Westy, you do have such good taste ! I do love the Victor, only wish I had seen one fly before they retired... And the rest of your list isnt bad either  :D  As for the Canberra, Cosford is getting close to getting one ready to fly again, so we may well enjoy a display before too long ! Fingers crossed....

Lady Penelope (VFAB) again, in formation with something more interesting than the Reds this time (no, not the Blades or the Indian Helicopter Display Team).

Maybe a couple of Tornados and the Dutch F16  :D

I don\'t want a second childhood. I\'m still enjoying the first one.

I\'m retired.
I was tired yesterday, and I\'m tired again today.

Excellent article in Aviation's January edition covering the restoration / planned return to flight of Canberra PR9 XH134. Vintage Flyers at Kemble are doing the work, overseen by Marshalls. They are hoping for a test flight October-ish 2012.

XH134 was the last of the PR9's to go through servicing with the RAF (at Bournemouth), completing only 200 hours of flying between it's last service in 2005 and retirement in 2006. Since arriving at Kemble it's been kept hangared. The engines have been approved for flight and NDT has revealed no issues with the airframe. The large fuselage tank is being filled with expanding foam (a la the Hercules) and with XH135 available as a donor aircraft for spares (albeit kept in a taxiable condition itself), the future looks positive.  :D

The engineering team is being led by an ex-RAF Canberra PR9 chap...

The owners bought up a large stock of spares from the RAF upon the retirement of the Canberras - sound familiar?!
