Returning Raffle Tickets
« on: August 28, 2012, 07:30:29 PM »
As I am attending Bournemouth, would it be okay to take my unsold raffle tickets down there for the team to sell, or are they allocated to me?

Please do not confuse the situation, place unsold tickets in an envelope, seal and hand to Event Manager to return to Hinckley marked for  my attention. Events have had numbered allocations.

Thanks

Why does it matter what number they are so long as they are sold, rather than sat in an envelope?

If you requested extra Raffle tickets - (like wot I did for Ibsley) you got a batch number assigned to you. Tickets sold/returned/funds raised requires a form to be filled in before they can be returned to Hinckley.

There are legal reasons why large quantities of books have to be recorded and either assigned to individuals or specific shows. It's to do with fraud prevention and are terms dictated to us by the Gambling Commission for the safe operation of promotions (Raffles), whilst being socially responsible (to avoid problem gambling etc...) and is simply - just good housekeeping.
