A HUGE thanks to the Engineers
« on: September 10, 2012, 11:56:04 PM »
As the 2012 airshow season draws to a close... I think it fit to say a huge thanks to Taff and his mottly crew for giving us a serviceable aircraft throughout this years season .

Despite the major engine set back - they worked thier butts off to give 558 back to us, and the public - for our enjoyment this year.

Without the ground crew doing what they do best... the aircrew would have no aircraft to display.

Well done guys - you are appreciated by us all  :D

(The pilots did good too...... )

Since she started her (slightly late) display season there has not been a single 'no show'.

Not half bad for a 52 year old bird.

Very well done chaps.  :D  :D

I don\'t want a second childhood. I\'m still enjoying the first one.

I\'m retired.
I was tired yesterday, and I\'m tired again today.

Ditto all above.

Well done everyone.

Thanks for providing all those tens of thousands of spectators at air shows with something to really make them go WOW.

Hold your horses.  We've got one - possibly two - more displays yet.  Don't jinx them by saying what a good job the engineers have done too soon ;)

Good point, but will it happen ?funding is tight and I doubt the Trust can justify funding a "Tour" without some commercial backing,we shall see.
