Well, I think we all saw this coming, but... I've got to say it...

Gutted  :(

I do understand all the reasons though.

It's amazing how history sort of repeats itself, it's like 1992 all over again!

Here's to 2013 everyone  :D .

My whole outlook on 558 has been enjoy it while you can, and I amazed we've actually come this far.

Given everything that has happened, it's been a minor miracle that a Vulcan was returned to flight and has managed to remain airworthy for a few years.

Obviously it's gutting to think about never seeing it fly again, but reading the documents I can understand the reasoning.

Was there at her first leap back in to the sky in 2007 and hope to see her last with camera in hand again. But have to say it will be a very sad day.

what arrangements are being made to see the LAST flight, i would think many thousands of fans will want to see this, i would think the only place will be at a seaside where this amount of people can be accomadated.

first of all, trying to raise £800k so that there is a flying season next year, thne hopefully a carefully planned spectacular finale, problem is wherever that takes place there will be more unhappy than happy people (it always happens and is inevitable)

Now the cynics amongst us would say that the recent "Jubilee Flight" was actually a trial run for next year's "Final Flight" !!

If that was a test, and I have mentioned elsewhere the feasibility of a similar flight early next year, then it would guarantee another year at least financially, but the .............................oh I'll leave it.............!
