The last Foo Fighters album (ok, not to everyone's taste) was done on analogue equipment in Dave Grohls garage so it would lack the artificiality of digital recording. I have just found my old Rega Planar turntable, QED Amp, Mordaunt-Short speakers in my Mum & Dad's loft and set them up at home...I think the Amp has had it though as the left channel is not playing :(.  Still, it was good to see the kids faces when I got my old LP's out!

A few days ago I was taking our two grandsons (6 & 9) to school and we were talking about different kinds of music.
Should have seen their faces when I told them their Father used to be in a Rock Band, it was priceless!
It wasn't a big band, just while he was at University and they did gigs at the Uni and around Worcester. They are still in touch but not playing now. Makes me think how his life might have been different if they'd stuck at it.

Blimey...waiting for the arrival and naming of Prince George Of Cambridge didn't go on as long as this!!!

Knock Out Kaine have kept us more up to date with sneaky peeks at the artwork on their Facebook page!!!

It's times like this when I wonder what the point is of being a club member!!!

I see where the Mushroom expression comes from now!!!

We remain in the dark until at some point we get fed a bit of Bull$#!+!!!

Knock Out Kaine is very much a Trust thing Rob and the Club have no influence there. Sorry.
Give Hinckley a call and see if there is any news.

It's in their interests to... while the Trust have to await word on a 'solid' proposition for the launch of the charity single and video.
As soon as there is something firm the Trust can state, it will be in a newsletter.

I heard from the band a couple of months ago that things were moving again.

Is there any more news from our end?

No nothing here, so I'll chase again. I think a lot hinges not on the group, but with the offer that was made by the record company for promotion their end.

In the words of Jon Bon Jovi, "once more, with feeling..."

I know it's not a problem at our end, and from chatting to members of the band, it isn't at their end either.

But as the band are working on new stuff, is this now dead in the water?
