I'm receiving a few e-mails from people who have bought tokens, can see the photo competition sections but can't post. Apologies for this but I think it may be because they are registered users but not club members and the posting permissions may be different. I have e-mailed Ian and have asked him to have a look so please bear with me until I get a reply, thanks.

If it happens to you please send me a PM or e-mail and let me know if you are a club member or just registered user and then I may see a pattern develop. I have a plan B to get round it if necessary (but it will involve me in a bit of work!) , done it once already.

Just a reminder about photo size, the forum crops off the right hand side if they are too large, it seems that they must be 750 pixels wide maximum so if your's do that and you dont like the appearance then reduce them in size before loading, thats how I got round it with mine but I've had a few e-mails about the problem,

A daft question,how do you post photo,s on the forum without first hosting them on another site (Photobucket/Flickr)

Urgent answer needed please as running out of time

On the "post reply" screen , at the bottom you'll see an option "upload attachment"
Where it says "filename" , use the "browse" option to search for the relevent pic on your computer , then click on "open" , then click on "add the file".
Towards the bottom of the screen , you will now get another menu open up , "posted attachments".
Click on the "place inline" option & it will add the picture into your message.
You can do this for up to 3 images per posting.
Bear in mind , though ,that the maximum file size it will accept is 256kb { 800x600 should be ok , you may get up to 1024x600-ish }
Let me know if this works OK.

thanks for helping out on that Clive, one point which may help - before I post photos I reduce them to a max width of 750 pixels then you dont lose the right hand side

Forgot to say....
It may take a while when you click on "add the file" , whilst it uploads it onto the forum server. Keep a check on the top of the screen for any error messages { usually telling you the file size is too big ! }

Hi ... I've tried to post a photo but it says the file is too large... what size must it be scaled down to please??  Thank you!
