« on: April 14, 2014, 12:35:55 PM »
Hello vulcan to the sky

My name is James Hewitt,  I am a civillian (ex REME) aircraft fitter/mechanic currently providing maintenance on the Apache AH1 helicopter at Wattisham airfield in suffolk. I can email whoever necessary regarding my CV for voluntary work and provide references. Even if its just panel cleaning i would love to get involved.

I look forward to hearing from you soon

kind regards

James Hewitt

Welcome to the forum from another Suffolk dweller.
Keep up the good work on those Apache's as they fly over our house almost every day and a large hole in the roof would be most unwelcome.  :D

That is almost an insult Sam. It is a motorhome if you please. ::) Don't want to be confused with those 'tuggers'.
In between our frequent trips we do spend the odd night or two in our house though.  :)

Lol yeah I've been in touch with both greg and sam now regarding this. If I could get details of location and what I should bring with me that would be great. Can't wait to get up close to her, saw her flying over Wattisham airfield and RIAT Raf Fairford last year. Unbelievable noise :)
