RSAF Museum visit.
« on: December 01, 2010, 12:53:47 PM »
Hi folks!
I thought I'd share with you some of the photos I took at the Republic of Singapore Air Force Museum at the weekend.
Rather than upload a ton of stuff I'll link you to my FLICKR set:

Apologies for the quality, I'm rubbish with a camera.

Some really nice aircraft there Rushy. Thanks for the link. BTW were you the only one there?

The photo work was very good  ;)  but we all know that these sort of museums are a pain when it comes to trying to take decent photos. They are always poorly lit with not enough room to take the (uncluttered) shot you need.

BTW  This is a personal gripe, so ignore, but I hate to see aircraft impaled on spikes like butterflies. :(

Pretty much the only one, while I wandered a couple wandered in but were gone again in about 20 mins.
Even the staff were hiding!
I left them a Vulcan Card at reception by the way. :D

It's now at Paya Lebar on the Airport road Smudger. They moved it from Changi in 1990.
