Squadron Badges
« on: October 19, 2014, 06:16:40 PM »
Hello one and all, I used to work at RAF Waddington in the 70's and 80's. I'm trying to find a 44 squadron enamel badge. I have one from 50, 9 and 101 squadron but can't find one from 44sq. Can anyone help
Thanks

If you want the RAF crest shape I can make inquiries for you - I don't think 44 Sqn have a website.

The only one I can find on the web is £40  :o

Apparently they are no longer available through the original supplier but a new one is in the process of having them manufactured and 44Sqn Association will stock when the order is completed.

Hi and thanks' for the feed back, I have seen the round badges and call me old fashioned but they just don't do it for me. I'm looking for the ones we used to bye from the Squadrons (please see photo if it's uploaded lol)

I can't give a time scale but it's been 6 weeks up to now, the first proof has been corrected and sent back to the manufacturer.

Keep reminding me and I keep chasing it up.

Sorry I was sure I had replied, they were still under manufacture the last time I asked but will ask again for an update.
