I will happily bring along a 'plus one', if 11 year olds are allowed? He's generally well behaved, particularly if it has got him out of Friday afternoon rugby.  :D

...or better still, a few lines in tomorrow's email letter that will go out to 25,000!
Must be quite a few near by..... so I'm on the case.

Ian - don't put Sues phone number. If you want to use mine and Sues email address (concorde.avp at btinternet.com) and the NW Region Address (northwest.regions@vulcantotheskyclub.co.uk).

558 is now advertising this on her Facebook. I've directed enquiries to the "northwest regions" email address, hope this is OK with all concerned.

  gotta love Facebook. The first few reactions to 558's post are people arguing about whether the dinner would be better under Brooklands' Concorde, or the Victor at Elvington

Just SHUT UP AND BUY TICKETS!!!

Rant over - I feel better now  :D

My reply was going to be :-
"Guys the reason under Concorde was picked was coz 2 people there (me + 1) thought there'd be enough interest.
The venue has been donated free (despite some o/t costs for staff)
Martin Withers has offered to come as long as it's 558 benefitting.
The caterers are doing it incredibly cheaply.
Target was 350 max 200 min. If wed have got 200 we'd have made > £3,000 for the Good Lady
The final reason it's there is that we got it sorted. If someone near Cosford or Brunty or Brooklands sorts something all the better."

Too much for Facebook but valid here. The girl who sad she hoped to go was married there earlier this year.

Soz - we haven't sold enough for you to get away from Skweeky so we've canned it. It's not worth Martins time coming over for the number we have sold.

I just can't understand this.  How can such an amazing evening not sell out every seat       .

Thank you very much John, Sue, Martin and everyone else who has been and was to be involved. Any chance of just postponing it and trying again with the power of the weekly newsletter advertising it to 25,000 people??

It was publicised 2+ months in advance to the umpteen thousand recipients of the VTTSC magazine...
