I wasn't aircrew so hope it's ok to post about former aircrew in this section.
Anyone know, remember, Ken Pollard?
He came to the Museum last Saturday and he was a Vulcan pilot.
I was giving tours of XM569 with Alan McDonald (was AEO) and it turned out that they served on the same squadron at the same time at Scampton. I think it was 83 Sqdn.
We are working on Ken to get him as a volunteer for the museum!!
Other visitors have included Barry Simon and Roger Hannaford. Harry Hopkins is still around and sometimes pops in. Haven't seen Peter Odlin at the museum but met him on a ferry in Malta (recorded in another thread in 2012).
Another member of crew we have at the the Museum is Bob McDonald and the chairman of trustees is John Lewer (Nav Radar).
So apart from the XH558 and XM655 crews there's still lots of them out there, thank goodness.
