a few pics of '558 at Throckmorton today, a long journey with bad traffic hold ups  (2 1/2 hours to get in) but worth it to see the first display of 2015

Great pics Andy. It was a lovely day for catching 558. Lots of sunshine, and a backdrop of some clouds. A bit windy though.

To save on adding too many threads for one airshow, I'll piggyback my video onto your photos (if you don't mind)

sorry Jane, I got in late (like many others) so got straight to a pitch ready for the show , I missed seeing Lauren Richardson's Pitts anyway. Then I left straight after the cub doing it's barnstormer thing.
Fortunately I drove up on Friday but it took me 2 1/2 hours to cover about 2 miles to get in, traffic management review required  >:( but it may be an indication of how many people will make an effort to see her this year, 450 mile round trip is not something I would normally consider. Something organisers need to think about.

Re the sun, I had more shots with cloud behind than blue sky so I had to pick out the best from what I had.
