RIP Colston Nichols (ex 617 Sqn)
« on: October 11, 2015, 06:12:10 PM »
It is sad to announce that Colston Nichols (ex 617 Sqn qnd Team Bournemouth member) finally lost his battle with cancer.

Cols was part of our team at fundraising events over the last few years. He was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed by all of us who knew him. His last wish was to see 558 fly... we managed to do that for him at Yeovilton this year.

Sadly - he was too ill to see her final display at the Bournemouth Air festival a few weeks later (despite all our attempts to get him there).

RIP and blue skies good Sir. It was a honour to know you. Our deepest condolences go out to his family at this sad time. We have all lost a very true friend.

We will be attending his funeral in due course as friends and on behalf of VTTS Club.

That is sad Phill, thanks for letting us know. Indeed, a very nice chap, and important part of Team Bournemouth.
I said "no more passwords" and look what happened!

Malcolm and I are very sorry to hear this. I know how much a part of Team Bournemouth he was and our thoughts are with you all.

Our sincere condolences to Colston's family and friends.

RiP Colston,

It was a pleasure to know you and to hear your tales of operating Vulcan and Blue Steel.

Lovely to meet up with You at Yoevilton.

You will be missed.

I'll never give up on the dream!
