Following on from Guy’s Spitfire programme he will once again look to the sky in his next Channel 4 programme. 'Guy Martin's Last Flight of the Vulcan Bomber' airs Sunday 29th November on Channel 4 at 19.30 hrs. :)

I contacted his Agent near the start of the last season of flight suggesting he might try to get involved, (he indicated it was something they might consider).

According to my 'TV & Satellite Guide' we can all look forward to watching Guy Martin restore a Vulcan bomber.  I know Guy's very talented but I think that might be a stretch even for him!

And a wheelie at the controls? Yeah right, that'll be just before the acclaimed barrel roll then.

Still at 90 minutes long, there should be some good stuff to see.

Talking to the producer chapie and he has been working on this with Dr. Plemming for the last Seven years.

Looking forward to this.

Well that's what you call playing your cards close to your chest!  ???
(Although planning for the last flight for 7 years does seem a bit pessimistic?)

To be fair to Channel 4 it does say 'try'. Maybe it wasn't in 558... ;)

It's a shame it's Guy Martin, they should've got Philip Glenister.

At least with Channel 4 we've got a chance of some decent High Definition footage of our lady's last season.

I don't hold out much hope for the forthcoming DVD/BR from Plain TV.

I think there's more chance of Simon Cowell discovering the next Iron Maiden on The X Factor!

There was a trailer on More4 last night and Guy was definitely in the RH seat of WHICH VULCAN??

Answers on a £5 donation - bit like the old Off Topic Fines!

It looks to be a good programme though, judging by the airborne photography.

After that farce of a series For the Love of Cars?  Thank heavens they had more sense.  What does Glenister know about cars, let alone the sort of engineering that is in the Vulcan?

The air-to-air photography is stunning.  Been lucky enough to have had a sneak preview.  It was great fun to do as well.  The crew was me, Bill P and Phil D.  I reckon it should be a classic programme.

Thanks for that Bill, that gives us some more encouragement.

I think Guy was in the right hand seat of 655.
