I just want to thank all the Engineers for today!! What an amazing, stonking, freaking awesome experience!!!
Ive heard the Howl before and always my usual comment is 'Better than sex!'
Well let me tell you until youve stood right underneath the Bomb-Bay doors and Taff flips her to full power and the noise vibrates right into your SOUL and the floor moves!!! You aint heard nothing yet!!
If you have the money like i did,, GO!!ITS DEFINATELY BETTER THAN SEX!!!!!

it would be a nice gesture if all the club members and supporters were to be invited along to these things for free ( ok might need a few engine runs!) as a thank you and to make up for the shambles of the last flight ... just a thought  ;)

As an impartial party, (i.e. not a Club member, not an active supporter / volunteer & don't know anyone on these forums outside of the forums), I'd say that's a very reasonable & realistic aspiration!

Hello?  They are a charity totally dependant on donations.  Free taxi runs for all members?  I think not.  Cough up or go without :o)

Be careful with that..a jet engine at 100ft can produce 140dB which is the loudest recommended noise exposure WITH hearing protection.

Fingers crossed! Would make it a memorable day.

I would have loved to have been at the Engine run. I can't believe how quickly it sold out. Thankfully the post op driving ban meant that I couldn't be too disappointed!

Went to an engine run 2 yrs ago, a treat for my brother on his 40th! It was amazing.

There's a bit of technique in the 201 howl that the girls enjoy...
